The Reserve Officers Association (ROA) represents members of the seven United States Uniformed Services, the men and women who serve our Nation in the cause of freedom need and deserve a voice in creating government policy. In one of their significant initiatives ROA is following a VA study of Reservist claims.  Recently LtGen Dennis McCarthy, ROA Executive Director met with Secretary Dunne to discuss some recently published articles that show that VA claims filed by Reserve Component members have a higher denial ratio, and receive a lower overall disability rating (than their active component counterparts).
