SPC Kyle Carpenter, 946th Med Team (FS), AR-MEDCOM receives his $500 USAR Enlisted Scholarship check.

CSM Eddie Malone, 75th CSH, Tuscaloosa, AL, made the presentation.  SPC Carpenter is a recent qualifying recipient.  We here at ARA extend to him our congratulations and best wishes as he continues with his education and USAR career!  Thank you for your service Kyle!

Kylee J. Delgadillo and her father, SSG Kent Delgadillo, an OEF veteran, accept her $500 ARA/USAA Scholarship check from CSM David J. Weaver.

Ms. Delgadillo expressed her appreciation for the Scholarship check, thanked all for coming, and will continue her studies to be a Jounalist at Cal State, Long Beach, CA. CSM Weaver shook hands, had the picture taken, and stated "and I said good-bye for the last time to all my friends at the SoCal Detachment" as he himself had retired.  CSM Weaver told us: "Thank you again for the Scholarships and all your efforts for the Army Reserve. 'Make Ready-Army Strong!'"  We here at ARA add: "Thank you for your good efforts Kylee!"  AND also, thank you CSM Weaver for your 28 years of devoted service to our nation.
