WHERE IS INDUSTRIAL BASE
Many concerns persist!

Where is our train the trainer equipment for USAR Training Divisions expansion?

Where are the facilities to house a wartime training base expansion: tents, training areas, motor pools, mess halls, training aids?

What and where are our industrial production base capabilities for everything from rifles and ammunition, to trucks, to gun barrels and so on, to support a training base expansion?

How many men and women with civilian trade skill sets are available now to include machinists, and medical personnel, to met wartime expansion AND current civilian needs, on a national scale?

What rail and other transportation capabilities exist within the nation for movement of troops and equipment and production materials, as well as our civilian population?

What stategic materials must be transported in from foreign countries besides oil?  Barium?  Chromium?  Titanium?  Others? Can we depend on these sources?

What manufacturing capabilies exisit within the borders of the United States for producing wartime equipment and how many now exist only overseas?

This page is being developed now to look at strategic impacts.  Also see our webpages on ARMY MOB / DEPLOY and MANPOWER AND THE DRAFT.
